What To Do If You Get A Rash After Waxing

AVATAR THE 10 BEST METAL RECORDS 2009

After a well deserved and needed rest, your server returns with that damned post that has already become a classic of this blog (and according to the Live Traffic Feed is the most sought after and visited) ... the traditional list of the TOP 10 METAL RECORDS 2009, when dying to close despite an uneventful early human history and gave us many pleasant musical surprises, as far as metal is concerned (indeed, the rest I give a shit sovereign). Other titanic task, considering the good quality music that surrounded this year to various productions ranging from more traditional Heavy Metal, Power Metal through until you reach the dark shores of the Viking and Death Metal. Anointed the 10 were chosen from a list of about 150 albums, which were heard in its entirety during the many lonely business trips I corresponded since late October over this diverse country, especially in the automotive pipes insane to the beautiful city of Medellin (place where were buried the last remains of humanity residing in my heart). For these reasons, the following 10 selected are not only in this important and solemn list for its sheer quality music but also by the special love I hold them today, and surely I will keep on my deathbed.

Finally, and considering requests made last year by his confreres as Mr. Sir Laguna , each record reviewed included a download link for the poor lost soul who dares, download the album in question and enjoy in the comfort of his long. The comments section is completely open for anyone unfortunate words eject it deems appropriate. It goes without saying that I do not get any financial compensation for sharing music download links, and music, the beautiful art of the Muses, is a gift from eons ago, inspiring and beautiful goddesses Calliope, Melpomene and Polyhymnia, the bastards make us humans to cope with our heavy and miserable existence. Without further ado, here we go:

10 - IRON FIRE - TO THE GRAVE

After a great debut ("Thunderstorm") and an even better second album ("On the Edge") IRON FIRE Danes will mess up with two albums ("Revenge" and "Blade of Triumph") that were light years in originality and freshness of its first two plays. For 2009, they released their most recent work entitled "To the Grave" and my expectations were quite poor, in fact, almost nil. The voice of Martin Steene, raspy enough for the average of a singer of Heavy / Power Metal, I've always thought the key point that makes a different band Iron Fire in the prolific world of Power Metal. However, the two previous works are mediocre enough to me completely away from this band. On coincidences of life, "To the Grave" finished casting my MP4, absolute my surprise when, after a couple of songs, I checked the screen and it appeared as an artist IRON FIRE. And this album is engaging from the first song "The Beast From The Blackness" and let us addicted to the second "Kill for Metal" with a traditional power metal that at times becomes pure heavy metal style of bands like Virgin Steele. Unpretentious, no pomposity, with memorable riffs and choruses that make us sing and move the hair, and the unmistakable voice of Mr. Steene, "To the Grave" is becoming one of the best albums of style, so least in the last five years.

Highlight: "The beast from the Blackness"

9 - Daath - The Concealers

With a perfect blend of the most aggressive of the Melodic Death Metal and more melodic death metal, this band strikes back with her third American album. And despite having lost one of its main gear, singer Sean Farber, the new frontman Sean Z. perfectly fits the style of the band, with a wrenching guttural voices that fit perfectly with the harsh of the famous double bass drummer Kevin Talley. But this album is not only speed and aggression (as I do), we also find enormous influence of jazz on songs like "The Umbinding Truth", contrasted with devastating blast beats as in "Silenced" and "Translucent Potency." Unable to escape the riffeos mesmerizing guitar, courtesy of Mr. Eyal Levi and Emil Werstler, who will be played throughout the plate, a battle of melodic guitar lines that soften a bit extreme atmosphere exhaled by the disk.
Highlights: "The Worthless" and "Sharpen the Blades" Download Link: http://www.mediafire.com/?wtdnylhy2zy

8 - OBITUARY - DARKEST DAY

How

leave out one of the oldest and largest exponents
Old School Death Metal? I still remember when I saw them in concert last year ... tremendous energy and brutality to expel these American legends, energy, and brutality that is perfectly encapsulated in his eighth studio album "Darkest Day." Insistent riffs on the house, which at times are contrasted with dense melodies that teach us that heavy sound does not need to play fast, classic and unmistakable screams of John Tardy that contribute to this unhealthy and brutal environment that is generated each time listening to a song OBITUARY, all topped with the Lord alone inhuman Ralph Santolla (ex - Death, ex-Deicide) and the devastating rumblings battery Donald Tardy. Infinitely superior to what they did in their previous album "Xecutioner's Return", OBITUARY definitely has returned to stay clear example is the "Darkest Day," irrefutable evidence that the Death Metal in its purest form is not dead, nor has been transformed. Highlights: "List of Dead", "Blood to Give," "Payback" and "This Life"

7 - IRON MAIDEN - FLIGHT 666: THE ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK

Another live album Iron Maiden? How many fucking live albums have been published? Do not get tired of it? Do not get tired of making money? Asked how are you were hundreds of fans (and detractors) of the band, when they learned that Iron Maiden was releasing a new live album in 2009. First of all I must clarify that this album is a shot almost exclusively for his fans, so poppy and / or gay shit abortions enjoy music like Shakira, Mika Hannah Montana or can jerk off watching the video " Loba "of Shakira, imitate her choreography as a prostitute with syphilis in heat and hug the bitch mother that gave birth.
clarify this, I must say that any fan of GOOD music, this album is not recognized in only one of the best work the band live (near the "Rock in Rio" and obviously, the "Live After Death "), but also one of the best live albums of this first decade of the new millennium (and no, I'm so short of occupation to make a list of" 10 best albums of the decade "), which undoubtedly throws me to ensure that "Flight 666: The Original Soundtrack" is the "Live After Death" XXI century. Before I rushed to my jugular as hyenas, uphold my thesis with 3 arguments: 1. The perfect set-list that gives this album the best songs of the period between 1980 and 1988 (and definitely the best IRON MAIDEN), with songs that did not play more than 10 years in public shows such as "Rime of the Ancient Mariner "or" Powerslave. " 2. Perfect disc production, undoubtedly superior to any work live band, which allows us to appreciate each own instruments and Bruce D. running around and singing around the stage. 3. And not least: The fact that the whole disc is based on presentations made during the first part of its mega world tour "Somewhere Back in Time" and "Run to the Hills" is the version that played here in Bogota on February 28, 2008, concert which I attended and at the forefront. Recall the thrill of those pleasant and unforgettable moments can only be described as slight electric shocks running through my spine every time I hear this excellent production, another example of the relevance and permanence of Heavy Metal. 16 songs, 16 towns, 16 hymns, 16 steps to immortality!

PS: The cover of the album is nothing more and nothing less than that legendary Simon Bolivar Park February 28, 2008 (in your face, rest of Latin America!)

6 - Månegarm - Nattväsen

The great Viking Metal could not stay out of this great list, with the help of one of its most worthy representatives: Månegarm

and songs full of paganism, Nordic history and gods of Asgaard. If I ask for the best Viking Metal band at its most pure, would not hesitate a moment to name the 5 Swedish album after album is getting closer to perfection. Far from his sound and aggressive blackero deployed in their first work "Nordstjärnans Tidsalder, and closer to the perfect equation black - folk metal fan out from their third album" Dödsfärd "this" Nattväsen "brings a bit of what we've heard throughout his discography: An aggressive and angry voice, courtesy of Erik Grawsiö, a character who is also responsible for great drum work, acoustic passages that transport us immediately to an ice cream Scandinavian forest, and of course, the great violin lines masterfully interpreted by Janne Liljeqvist, one of the most prevalent discs gives this instrument as a primary engine of the rhythmic line of the band (in itself I think
Månegarm

is one of extreme metal bands which gives the most prevalent violin) A masterful work that should be on the shelf of anyone who claims to be a lover of good music.

Highlights: "Mina Fader Hall" and "Nattsjäl, Drömsjäl"

5 - Megadeth - ENDGAME

Probably one of the albums that generated higher expectations in 2009, because he spoke to lots across the network and mostly positive reviews. Yes gentlemen, your honor again the General Dave Mustaine can wield a huge smile on his face because he released an album that not only incorporates the most thrashers roots of the band, but much higher than the boring

Metallica Death Pathetic (disk ideal for teenagers with acne). General Mustaine: You are infinitely superior to any of the gay and believed members of Metallica (especially in regard to attitude, ability to compose and talent for singing and playing a guitar).

That said, I must say that "Endgame" is one of the best albums Megadeth has released this decade (sorry, but I love the "The World Needs a Hero"). Firstly, because Dave Mustaine finally found his perfect mate guitar from the legendary Marty Friedman, and Mr. Chris Broderick (ex Jag Panzer, ex - Nevermore). Just listen to the first four songs on the record to conclude that not many solos heard on an album from Megadeth the "Rust in Peace", not devalue the work of Al Pitrelli, but definitely Broderick performing style fits so much more to the composition of Mustaine. Second, this "Endgame" gives us a perfect balance between songs very fast thrash metal full of eighties-style "Rust in Peace" or "Peace Sells ..." as we can see from the beginning of the disc with songs like "This Day We Fight! "," 1320 "or the bestial" Headcrusher "that lives up to its name and I doubt that today, a mentally retarded would have made Metallica, with songs closer to Heavy Metal mid-nineties own the great "Youthanasia" with songs like "44 Minutes" or "Bodies", or with issues that may well have been included in the "Countdown to Extinction" as the eponymous "Endgame" or "How the Story Ends "a perfect amalgamation of the best moments of absolutely great Megadeth discography.

A true gem of our time that no fan can miss (unless those objects are introduced anally Ulrich and Hetfield thinking) ... a gem that could only emerge from the mind of General Mustaine, one of the best composers in the history of Heavy Metal (except when they steal the compositions themselves and advertised as Ulrich is not it?)
Highlights: "This Day We Fight!", "44 Minutes", "Headcrusher" and "How the Story Ends "

4 - Ensiferum - FROM AFAR.

Ensiferum is one of those bands where all their records are of very high quality and similar (except for their self-titled debut album is simply heavenly and unique.) With its fourth studio "From Afar" becomes not only a great album full of those delicious things that make us love this band (fast guitar riffs, voices torn, epic choruses, lyrics Viking choruses sung in chorus as drunken Vikings double bass drums and demonic) but also takes them a step beyond what they have done so far, experimenting with symphonic sounds without neglecting a single second the ferocity that characterizes them. This experiment is fully symphonic shown from the second track of "From Afar", and clearly reaffirmed in "Heathen Throne" and the interlude of "Stone Cold Metal." A nice album that leaves happy not only to fans of the band, but all those who are willing to undertake a long and epic journey.

3 - ETERNAL TEARS OF SORROW - CHILDREN OF THE DARK WATERS

Sorry, melodic, epic, dark, atmospheric, fast, technical, elegant, powerful ... MELANCHOLY ... are the key words to describe this brilliant work of art called "Children of the Dark Waters." Since their previous album "Before the Bleeding Sun", ETERNAL TEARS OF SORROW has evolved from a purely melodic sound in the universe of Death Metal, to sounds much more symphonic and worked, without losing its strength, and it clearly shows is the great voice of Altti, which looks ever more full of melancholy and anger. The keyboards have the perfect formula to create a dark and gloomy atmosphere that will appear from the first song and only withdraw until the end of the disc. If we add the epic choirs presence of female voices, we will find one of the albums that best can get to create atmosphere. Moreover, if you look intently at the cover before listening to the disc, you will feel in these frigid, dark waters from beginning to end. But none of this is an impediment to demonstrate
fury among the most eternal woe, and clear example is the brilliant and ruthless "Summon the Wild." In conclusion, a recommended album to savor life in the midst of a winter moon. Highlights: "Angelheart, Ravenheart," "Tears of Autumn Rain", "Summon the Wild" and "Midnight Bird"

2 - EDGUY - FUCKING WITH F *** - LIVE

I must say that quite a while not heard a live album as honest as this, ie that is not so overloaded with studio production that respects much more the true essence of a live performance and the band's interaction with his audience. In this case, Tobias Sammet & Co. give us an honest and excellent example of their great live performances, the way merge with your audience and make it a member of the band, a sample of how whores should be a live show of Heavy Metal. Although it is true EDGUY had published in 2003 a live album entitled "Burning Down the Opera", I must say that this "Fucking with F ***" is much more ingrained in my mind and stuck in my putrid soul, despite many people believe that the latter has a set list well below their first live album. I believe that the inclusion of songs from their last two studio efforts "Hellfire Club" and "Rocket Ride" and "Catch of the Century", "Lavatory Love Machine", "Fucking with Fire "," Superheroes "or" King of Fools "give additional points to consider with great gratitude to this disk. To this sumémosle the superhuman response and participation that the public delivery of Sao Paulo to the band and their show, and great live performance of one of the best songs of EDGUY as is "Mysteria."

Right now, I have in my hands as the "Burning Down the Opera" as the "Fucking with F ***", and honestly I must say that I lean towards the second for one primary reason: Version live performance of "Land of the Miracle" of the "FWF" is infinitely top song ... which was buried the ashes of the last passion and affection of my life.

Highlights: "Lavatory Love Machine", "Vain Glory Opera", "Land of the Miracle", "Fucking with fire", "Save Me" and "Mysteria."

1 - Devildriver - PRAY FOR Villains

seems that each successive record release of Devildriver became a challenge to overcome the limits of speed and Butala. This glorious band from Santa Barbara, California, led by the versatile Dez Fafara, launched on July 14, his fourth album titled "Pray for Villains." That same day I got a copy on the internet and was less than what it took me listening to the hard disk that ordering ek AMAZON.COM. From the moment the player is stopped, I knew this would be one of the best records this year ... after hundreds of listeners, I confirm that this is the best throw made in this damned year dying as a prostitute just stoned Hebrew. What is so interesting and important to this album? Starting musical style touted by the band. A delicious combination of groove metal and melodic passages that belong to the European Metal Melodic Death, an amalgam which is reaffirmed in this production in a manner almost perfect. On the other hand, we have the perfect execution of their work by each of the band members: Dez Fafara with a strong personal style and delivering the most brutal guttural, powerful guitar riffs perfectly balancing the power of thrash / death, with sublime melodic passages that give it special and unique touch to the disc. The low Mr Jon Miller appropriately complements the brutality of the guitars, which give way to harsh one of the best drum work of recent years, courtesy of one of the best extreme metal drummers: John Boecklin. But what would the best musical groups without great compositions? Well, this "Pray for Villains" is full of great songs that we rarely give truce to stop incessant flutter and wobble our respective manes unforgiving ... "Pray for Villains", "Pure Sincerity", "Fate Stepped In", "I've Been Sober," "Teach Me To Whisper ".... absolutely all the songs are a dementia of melody, speed, brutality and strong musical structure. But definitely the highlight of this sublime plate arrives with "Waiting for November", a beautiful intro semiacoustic slowly introduce us to one of the best songs I've ever heard in my life, with Dez Fafara screaming in absolute harmony with the frantic double bass drums and guitar riffs that will not quickly from our minds, all to lead furiously in a great chorus and a guitar solo that comes amid the ineffable excellence.
There
narcotics alter central nervous system and alter our mood to take the most extreme frenzy ... and there are albums like "Pray for Villains" that meet exactly the same function without to poison our circulatory system, but did force us to break our necks and cervical vertebrae. I have no words to describe the glorious and powerful feelings I get from listening to this album, I can only recommend it to other mortals who dared to lose precious seconds to read me their miserable existence.

Highlights: All songs.

I hope you enjoy this humble musical selection with the greatest of 2009 ... I appreciate the patience and time spent in reading my views musical about the good dying left us this year. I can only extend my deep hatred and contempt, and invite them to become intoxicated with alcohol, psychotropic or any kind of solvent in this December 31. Do not worry that the next year and in the next decade will be nothing better, everything will stay the same or worse ... is more likely we are faced with the imminent extinction of the human race in two years, so enjoy the little time they have left crawling on this beautiful planet.

PD. If any of the download links of the disks does not work, please let me know to fix it.
