Korpiklaani IN BOGOTA 07 - 03 to 10



For the first time in the history of this impudent country, we visited a Folk Metal band of the size of Korpiklaani, Finnish band formed in 2003 from the roots of "Shaman." These gentlemen, with 6-disc in its assets, have been the delight of their server, in the midst of gallons of liquor as they sang their happy and catchy melodies that perfectly combine metal, with tunes specific to the Finnish Humppa ; with lyrics in English and in suomi, we talk about the Finnish folklore, nature, the binges and alcohol (even a whole song devoted to the Vodka and another beer).

After watching several videos on YouTube, I was certain I would find myself in front of a band with an incredible display of energy in vivo. For my preliminary remarks fell short of the reality of these 6 Finns have drunk less than 5 meters. Energy, energy in its purest form is as it could translate the show that gives us Korpiklaani, a show sincere, unpretentious rock stars

fallacious, but rather, people who enjoy their music and also love to drink in excess.


And what better example of gozadera, a guy with an accordion rhythm, shaking his mane insane, while another drunken tunes accompanied by his violin? In the middle of everything, endless battery of
Matti "Matson" Johansson and rough and husky voice - the product of years and years of Vodka and beer - Mr. Jonne Järvelä, who devours the stage in a mythical and demonic.

La belleza y memorabilidad del concierto de KORPIKLAANI lies in the energy, sincerity and simplicity of its members, who took photos with the audience before the concert, along with a perfect interpretation of his instruments, and of course, some songs that hooked from the first time they are interpreted and generated in a spirit uncontrollable desire to drink, get drunk and enjoy small but sublime moments as experienced last night. I hope the experience serves to bring bands entrepreneurs Folk / Viking gauge Eluveitie, Finntroll and Ensiferum, among others.
